Birthday party! Festa de aniversario!

This was a very fun and cool party that I've done and it was for a beautiful family in Boca Raton, FL.

The menu of this party was only appetizers and salad and some good old brazilian recipes as the couple and the family really enjoyed Brazilian cooking.



Menu:
Bacon Wrapped Scallops served with spicy mayo on top in a porcelain chinese spoon
Salpicão de Frango (Brazilian Style Chicken Salad) served in a Martini glass
Bacon Mac n' Cheese with truffle oil served in ramekins
Grlled Polenta squares served with tomato & mixed mushrooms ragu topped with parmesan shaves
Steak au Poivre Crostinis - Crushed peppers encrusted beef ternderloin (filet mignon) sliced and served on crostinis with heavy cream sauce on top
Fresh Figs served on french bread croutons with goat cheese and fresh rosemay spread and topped with a drizzle of honey and prosciutto
Watercress, Mixed greens, grape tomatoes and crumbled queso blanco served with home made mustard dressing.

Esta festa teve somente appetizers ( finger food ou aperitivos!) e uma salada e aumas receita brasileira antiga e que foi um sucesso, quer era o salpicão de frango servido em taças de martini. Ficaram muito bonitas e deliciosas!

Chocolate Delights !! Brigadeiro de colher!!!




This is my new recipe for a sweet dessert treat and I am selling it to so if you are interested please email me asking about my delicious chocolate delights!



This one was the original style so it's only with chocolate sprinkles on top, but there is raspberry sauce on top or crushed nuts and a huge variety of ideas!

Rosh Hashanah Dinner Party


This family had a great and lovely time with some friends & family and enjoyed a very delicious and elegant dinner to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.

Moroccan Beet Salad served in a appetizer spoon as an amuse-bouche. Very light!

Mini Burgers made with organic ground beef & served with chipotle-tomato sauce


Skirt Steaks served with Cilantro-Chimichurri sauce


This class was a great success and the sauces came out perfect and everyone enjoyed all the meals prep together with the sauces.

Orange-ginger glaze with grilled chicken breasts and mint couscous


Lamb pops with green olive sauce! Really good! This sauce was my favorite!

My trip to Miami 2010! Férias em Miami 2010!



I decided this year to spend a whole week in Miami (like I did last year) and we had a blast!!
We used the same studio and it so beautifull and so cozy! Congratulations Scheherazade! And you will see the pictures of her studio of here and if you are interesteed pls call call her @ 786 327 9253 or email @ sbeachgetaway@hotmail.com and you can say that Chef Vanessa recommended her with a post in my blog!
Some friends ask me why Miami? First, it's right on the corner, I am close to where I live so I don't need to spend much & specially with airline tickets. But besides that my best answer is that I don't know everything yet in Miami and also in Broward too as I moved here about 4 years ago but only the last 2 I have really been discovering everything and the best is I LOVE MIAMI!



So enjoy the pictures and I encourege you to enjoy your local turism point and if your are interested in the studio pls call her and you will love it! '

Alguns amigos me perguntam, porque Miami? Primeiro, é aqui do lado, e estou perto de onde moro e com isso eu não preciso gastar com passagens aéreas e nem gasto muito! Mas além disso a melhor resposta é que eu ainda não conheço tudo em Miami e tambem em Broward e me mudei para cá recente, fazem só 4 anos e na realidade só saí pra conhecer mais nesses 2 últimos anos mas o melhor de tudo é que EU ADORO MIAMI! Então aproveitem as fotos e eu encorajo vocês a conhecerem melhor o seu turismo local e se quiserem venham conhecer Miami e sei que não vão se arrepender!
